MADRID, Spain – Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are frustrated in Europe because the agency they hope will help the suffering Filipinos is full of corruption.

PhilHealth echoed the comment, ‘head to toe’ corruption in the agency Rossel Deramas Besana is saddened by the alleged anomaly of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), especially during the pandemic where many OFWs lost their jobs and suffered.

It is said that due to the anomaly within the government-owned insurance agency, many of its members will be affected.

OFWs in Milan, Italy call for the austerity of some officials not to add to the problem of this pandemic and stop corruption.

The OFWs were initially angry at their 3 percent increase in contribution. The contribution was made voluntarily although the cost still increased.

Due to the exposed mafia-like corruption in PhilHealth, OFWs in Paris, France are demanding the cancellation of their 3 percent premium payment.

PhilHealth had earlier said that it was not easy to clean up corruption in the agency.
