The Philipines’ Katrina Llegado on Sunday (Manila TIme) finishes 5th runner-up in Reina HispanoAmericana 2019, Katrina placed 7th overall among the Top 11 in the pageant. a feat she is dedicated to her countrymen, who were devastated by the Taal Volcano Eruption early this year.
Mexico’s Regina Peredo Gutierrez won Reina Hispanoamericana, succeeding last year’s winner Nariman Battikha of Venezuela.
The competition was originally scheduled in November but had to be moved because of the political unrest in Bolivia.
The Philippines has only won the crown once, courtesy of Teresita “Winwyn” Marquez in 2017.
