Julia went to the NBI to file a case against Jay Sonza; Truth will prevail

Jay Sonza vs Julia Barreto

Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto has sued former broadcaster Jay Sonza.

The girl personally approached the Cybercrime Division of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) this morning with her mother Marjorie Barretto.

Julia filed a cybercrime complaint against Jay Sonza after she announced it on her Facebook page last Sept. 21, 2020 that the girl is pregnant and Gerald Anderson is said to be the father.

According to the Kapamilya star, he wants the NBI to investigate the fake news posted by the former TV host-news anchor.

The girl called Jay’s FB post “untrue” and “irresponsible” which caused her “distress” as well as her family.

“I am pursuing this case because the statements made by Mr. Sonza are untrue and irresponsible.

“The widespread reposting of the news based on his post caused distress to me and my family.

“I don’t want to take this matter lightly. Mr. Sonza, and all those who publish these reckless and baseless posts, must be held accountable for their actions so that they think twice before claiming things as fact, ”Julia said in an interview after filing a case with the NBI.

If you remember, the news spread by Jay Sonza that Gerald allegedly got Julia pregnant was a hot topic recently.

“Visoy – Visayan Tisoy Gerald Anderson and the son of Dennis Padilla and Marjorie Julia Barretto proved that they are both barren.

“After months of love lockdown and ESQ (exact sex quadrant) – something formed in Julia’s womb,” part of the FB status of the former brooadcaster.

At the same time, Julia and Gerald called it fake news.

Last Wednesday, Jay Sonza posted again on FB and retracted his earlier statements.

“I am not pregnant. – Julia
“My child is not pregnant. – Marjorie
“Someone admitted that I was happy.
“In that case, I withdraw my happy greetings.
Happy & excited kasi ako kappa may nabibiyayan ng Buhay.
“I’m sorry if my Congratulations are too early.”
