Duterte, asked the NPAs not to block the vaccines against COVID-19
President Rodrigo Duterte has appealed to the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) not to cause trouble if the distribution of vaccines against COVID-19 begins.
According to his national address on Monday night, the group should not make a fuss when such vaccines are taken to remote areas.
He said they should allow it to pass because such drugs are for people.
Apart from the CPP-NPAs, he said, the president also called on government officials not to block the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines in the country.
Earlier, the president said it was possible that by the end of February, several million doses of COVID-19 vaccines would arrive.
