Congresswoman, mayor, other local officials in Iloilo City, allegedly violated health protocol?

ILOILO CITY – Iloilo City Government officials have received criticism after allegedly violating the health protocol in conjunction with the distribution of cash assistance by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

In an exclusive interview  with Jeck Conlu, spokesperson of the COVID-19 team of the Iloilo City Government, he admitted that they did not follow the physical distancing where they even took a photo together and the others did not even wear a face mask. .

It was found out that Conlu is also said to have not complied with the health protocol.

Among those who allegedly violated the health protocol were Iloilo City Lone District Rep. Jamjam Baronda, Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas, Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon, and City Councilors Ely Estante, Jojo Javellana, Allan Zaldivar and Rudolph Ganzon.

Even the mayor’s children Raisa and Miguel Treñas allegedly violated the health protocol.

Executive assistant Fernando Jose Rico and barangay chiefs Roberto Niño of Calumpang, Molo, Iloilo City and John Eric David of Veterans Village, Iloilo City Proper are also said to be violators of the health protocol.
