Claudine Barretto clarified that she is happy for her ex-husband Raymart Santiago’s revealed new lovelife to their fellow actress Jodi Sta. Maria.
Barretto said this after admitting that she called the 38-year-old actress to personally convey the grievance to Raymart regarding the neglected responsibilities of their two children.
She even said that she was upset at first because she found out from others that the two were already in a relationship
According to the 41-year-old actress, she and Jodi became close after being together in a teleserye in 2007.
“Ako ang tumawag sa kanya.. Maayos yung pag-uusap namin. Until meron akong isang hiniling sa kanila na umoo sila. Hindi nila… it was for the kids, e. Hindi sila… they didn’t live up kung ano yung promise nila. ‘Yon yung medyo hindi okay. In all ano talaga… happiness lang talaga ang ano ko sa kanila. I think everybody deserves to be happy. Kahit hindi kami nagkakasundo ni Raymart. At the end of the day, I want them to be happy. Kasi, at the end of the day, he’s still the father of my children. And ang akin lang, huwag lang niyang kalimutan ang mga responsibilidad niya,” she told pep.
On Jodi’s side, she first took a vacation at a farm in Batangas and it is significant that she will leave the problems first and relax here.
Jodi already has a child with estranged husband Pampi Lacson.
