‘All time-high’ COVID-19 cases today, hit nearly 7,000

Another record-high confirmed case of COVID-19 was recorded today by the Department of Health (DOH).

Of the 74 laboratories that submitted their data, 6,958 were added to the case of the deadly virus in the Philippines.

Of the 74 laboratories that submitted their data, 6,958 were added to the case of the deadly virus in the Philippines. 4,163 were recorded from the National Capital Region (NCR), 400c cases in Laguna, 363 in Rizal, 312 from Cavite and 178 came from Bulacan.

As many as 633 people were cured, resulting in 68,159 total recoveries.

The agency has removed 143 duplicate cases from the total number of recoveries.

While the death toll has risen to 24, the total death toll from the deadly virus has reached 2,294.

Only one duplicate case was removed from the COVID-19 list of patients who died.
