Adequate supply of face shields, guaranteed by the Palace

The government will ensure that the supply of face shields in the country remains adequate.

Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque made the statement after the Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced that the use of face shields in public transportation is mandatory to further reduce the risk of transmission and transmission of COVID-19.

Sec. Roque, because the government has made it mandatory, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Health (DOH) will ensure that the country’s supply of face shields remains adequate.

It will be recalled that the DTI and DOH are also in contact for the designation of suggested retail rrice (SPR) on face shields.

It is only now that there is “overpricing” in the price of face shields and it is said that there is a shortage of supply in the markets.
