PASAY CITY β Aaron Beau Davis of Albay emerged victorious as Mr. World Philippines 2026 after defeating 20 other candidates during the pageant’s grand coronation night at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on Sunday, August 2.
In addition to winning the prestigious title, Davis earned several special awards, including Best in Swimwear, OkGames Ambassador, and Mr. Newport World Resorts Ambassador.
During the Top 10 question-and-answer round, Davis was asked how technology companies, governments, and the public should work together to combat AI-generated fake videos and images that can spread misinformation.
In his response, Davis acknowledged that artificial intelligence has both benefits and challenges. While AI can improve efficiency, he emphasized that it has also affected creative industries by replacing some human jobs. He concluded by saying that AI can never fully replace people because “humans have hearts.”
Meanwhile, Christian Villarin of Iloilo finished as Second Runner-Up, while Sean Kyle Ortega of Quezon City was named First Runner-Up.
Other titleholders crowned during the event included Logan Culp (Mr. Universe Philippines 2026), Paris Cabuco (Mr. Globe Philippines 2026), Wendell Oliver Pamfilo (Mr. Model International Philippines 2026), Kristoffer Alexei Cruz (Master of the World Philippines 2026), Alex Herberich (Mr. Interglobal Philippines 2026), Jesus Guinto (Mr. Glamour Look Philippines 2026), and Christan Manalo (Mr. Tourism Philippines 2026).
The newly crowned winners are set to represent the Philippines in their respective international pageants.
