Malacañang confirmed that the release order of US Marine Joseph Scott Pemberton has been sent to the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).
The document that BuCor has already received includes the signature of President Duterte himself who will release the American soldier.
Bucor Director General Undersecretary Gerald Bantag, on the other hand, confirmed the latest development that they already have the document to release Pemberton.
They said they will take the release order to Camp Aguinaldo specifically to the office of the Joint United States Military Advisory Group (JUSMAG).
Once the US serviceman’s release process is over, it will not be far off and it will be able to fly out of the country within this day.
