CAUAYAN CITY – All masses and religious activities in St. Thomas Aquinas in San Mariano, Isabela and the barangays after their parish priest tested positive for COVID-19.
CV425, a parish priest, 56, of Zone 1, San Mariano, Isabela, confirmed to Viva Filipinas that he tested positive for the virus.
CV425 said he was wearing a facemask and face shield when he held a concelebrated funeral mass in Naguillian, Isabela on July 22, 2020.
He said he only talked for one minute with one of the previous positive COVID-19s in Naguillian, Isabela.
The priest remained asymptomatic.
Contact tracing is already underway to identify those who met the parish priest.
