‘Mass resignation’: 7 staff members of Paolo Duterte resigned at the same time

MANILA, Philippines – Davao Rep. Paolo Duterte, along with the buzz that there is a problem with the management of their office.

The news was confirmed by the Davao congressman and presidential son in a statement, Thursday.

His chief of staff Sherwin Castan? Eda and six others are said to have resigned. The lawmaker did not mention any reason behind the “mass resignation.”

“For the details on why they resigned I think it would be best if Atty. Castan?eda should answer that question because for me tapos na ang lahat and we parted ways na maayos,”said President Rodrigo Duterte’s son.

“Hoping for a smooth transition and a more effective office for the constituents of the 1st district of Davao City.”

He added that the younger Duterte has almost filled the remaining positions with the help of ACT-CIS Rep. Eric Yap .

Yap clarified that he persuaded Duterte’s staff members to resign after seeing “minor lapses” in their work.

The president’s family, who was also the mayor of Davao City, is a well-known political family in Mindanao.

Apart from Paolo, his sister Sara Duterte-Carpio is currently serving as mayor of Davao City, while Davao City Vice Mayor is their younger sister Sebastian “Baste” Duterte.
