It also took 13 years before Barangay Ginebra regained the most coveted All-Filipino crown after defeating TNT Giga in Game 5, 82-78.

Ginebra did not release the advance from the second half until the end of the PBA bubble game held at the AUF Sports Arena in Pampanga.

Japeth Aguilar was named the best player of the game with 32 big points as his career high and an extra nine rebounds.

Aguilar, on the other hand, gave Giga credit for her strength that even though she lacked players, they were also tortured.

“I want to give credit to TNT, we know they are down on injuries but they are really ready to fight,” Aguilar said.

Tenorio was also named PBA Finals MVP with an average of 13.6 points per game and 6.2 assists and 2.8 rebounds in five games in the Finals.

Even though Tenorio has been in the league for a long time, this is still his first All-Filipino title.
