The world number one tennis player Novak Djokovic has revealed that he has tested positively for COVID-19, shortly after travelling to Croatia to take part in a tournament that he had organised.
He is the latest tennis player to be positive for the virus following Borna Coric, Grigor Dimitrov and Viktor Troicki.
The 33-year-old Djokovic was last played by fellow Serbian player Troiki in the first event of the Adria Tour competition in Belgrade.
Due to the Covid-19 Virus being infected by several tennis players, the tournament organized by Djokovic has been canceled.
Great Britain tennis star Andy Murray said the events surrounding the players’ virus reactivation should be considered a lesson while Australian player Nick Kyrgios called the event a “bone-headed decision”.
