Cagayan Valley Region confirmed COVID-19 cases now 11

DOH 2 confirms no case of coronavirus in Cagayan Valley

TUGUEGARAO CITY—Cagayan Valley Region now has 11 confirmed coronavirus disease cases with the latest inclusion of six persons, including four senior citizens, DOH Region II reported on Friday (March 27).

ALICIA, ISABELA

  • PH837 – 52 y/o Female
  • PH838 – 25 y/o (Pregnant)
  • PH840 – 27 y/o Male

TUGUEGARAO CITY

  • PH839 – 31 y/o Female (Nurse, CVMC)
  • PH840- 30 y/o Female (Nurse, CVMC)
  • PH841 – 73 y/o Female

DOH Region II confirmed that the COVID-19 has reached three provinces in the region, six in Cagayan, four in Isabela, and one in Nueva Vizcaya.

Due to this, Governor Manuel Mamba doubled-down on the strict implementation of home quarantines in all of the towns and barangays.

The local government, however, also assured that contact tracing for individuals who may have been exposed to the patient was on-going.
