Bicol’s largest hospital, possibly reaching ‘critical level

LEGAZPI CITY – The Albay Provincial Health Office (PHO) fears that COVID-19 patients will have no place to stay if the disease continues to swell in the Bicol Region.

This is after the Department of Health (DoH) -Bicol recorded a series of high number of disease victims in the region.

In an interview with Albay PHO Head Antonio Ludovice, it is possible that the capacity of the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (BRTTH) has only reached the critical level reserved for symptomatic patients.

It also worries patients infected with the virus who do not know how and where the disease got.

Because of this, Loduvice advised the public to avoid gathering and inviting people from different places especially if there is a celebration because it is said to be a possible source of local transmission of the disease.
